Back by very popular demand our Gin & Cheese train returns for 2026! Join us for a relaxed and deliciously indulgent afternoon as we travel through the heart of Weardale.

Locally handcrafted gin will be provided from WL Distillery based in Durham as well as plenty of locally sourced artisan cheese.

The train departs Bishop Auckland at 1300. Enjoy the leisurely journey to Stanhope whilst tasting and learning about gin and cheese.
