Giants of Steam returns for 2026...

We are delighted to announce that 71000 'Duke of Gloucester' will be attending the Giants of Steam 2026 gala, taking place from 16–18 October 2026 (subject to availability).

Our sincere thanks go to The BR Class 8 Steam Locomotive Trust and Locomotive Services Limited for allowing this remarkable locomotive to take part. Their support has made this very special appearance possible.

With its impressive presence and remarkable story, 'Duke of Gloucester' promises to add real excitement to the Giants of Steam weekend next year.
