The Autumn Steam Gala Is Back - With First Guest Announced!

We're thrilled to announce that LMS Jubilee Class No. 45596 Bahamas will be one of the star attractions at this year's Autumn Steam Gala — making its final appearance before overhaul.
Don't miss your chance to see this iconic double-chimney locomotive in action on the UK’s only double-track heritage main line.

Bahamas will be joined by a strong supporting cast from the home fleet and additional guest locomotives to be announced soon. With beautifully restored stations, on-site museums, behind-the-scenes access, and plenty of food and drink options, it's a steam-filled celebration for enthusiasts and families alike.


Running across four packed days, the Gala features an intensive timetable of passenger, goods and double-headed trains, with evening services on Friday and Saturday to experience the magic of steam after dusk.
