Whether you are bringing your dad, a grandparent, or just someone who loves trains, our Fathers' Day event offers a mix of heritage charm and interactive experiences for all ages. From relaxing steam train rides to the excitement of getting up close to the engines, it is a day full of railway fun. Children under 14 travel for free, making it an ideal family outing.

Activities include steam train rides along the scenic line, the chance to ride on the footplate, drive a diesel locomotive, and take guided shed tours to learn more about how our engines are restored and maintained. The tearoom will be open from 10:00 to 16:00, serving hot and cold drinks, pasties, sandwiches, cakes, and cream teas. The station shop will also be open with a range of gifts and souvenirs to take home.
