The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway will hold its annual service of remembrance on Sunday 12th November to honour the fallen in past wars and conflicts.

The Lynton and Barnstaple Railway will hold its annual Service of Remembrance to honour the fallen in past wars and conflicts.

The service will take place at Woody Bay Station, commencing at 10:50, followed by the two-minute silence at 11:00. A bugler will sound The Last Post.

"Axe", a veteran of France in the Great War and a dedicated war memorial, will provide footplate rides along the platform in return for donations to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

There will be a display of World War I exhibits in the tearoom.

The West Country Tommies, World War I re-enactors, will be present.

The tearoom will be open from 10:00 to 16:00.
