The Swanley New Barn Railway is a 7 1/4-inch gauge line running for about 800 metres around Swanley Park in Kent. Passengers can enjoy a scenic loop journey, boarding at New Barn or Swanley Parkway stations. Trains can carry pushchairs and buggies, making it a family-friendly attraction. The railway is fully signalled and features a variety of locomotives, including steam and diesel. It is normally open to the public for rides from Easter to September, with special events held at other times of the year. The railway is built, maintained and operated by enthusiastic local volunteers who take pride in providing visitors with an enjoyable experience.
