Operated almost entirely by volunteers, the North Norfolk Railway is one of East Anglia's best-loved heritage lines. Steam and heritage diesel trains run on a beautifully preserved railway linking Sheringham, Weybourne and Holt, with vintage stations, rolling countryside and sweeping views of the coast along the way. The line offers more than just a train ride – visitors can explore lovingly restored stations, enjoy dining trains and special events, or soak up the atmosphere of a working steam railway. With services running most days from April to October, it’s a perfect day out for families, enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to experience the golden age of rail travel.
