The railway runs passenger-carrying scale models of engines and trains that currently operate, or have operated, on the full-size national railway. We also have models of locomotives representing Britain's narrow gauge industrial heritage, including those inspired by the wonderful Welsh mountain and slate railways. We operate diesel locomotives, electric locomotives and trams on a 2 km line that runs through 600 acres of beautiful woodland within Kingsbury Water Park. With its 15 lakes, maturing woodlands and abundant wildlife, the park is a delightful place for the whole family to enjoy a peaceful natural environment alongside one of the finest miniature railways in the country. The railway is one of the longest of its kind and prides itself on operating safely and professionally while maintaining an authentic railway atmosphere. Features include both colour light and semaphore signalling, working signal boxes and controlled level crossings. You will also hear the sound of guards' whistles and see trains dispatched using traditional flags. Ask as many questions as you like - our staff will be happy to share their knowledge.
