Three railways will operate their Bagnall locos other this bank holiday weekend – and special tickets will be sold allowing a ride on each railway over the bank holiday period. In essence, travel on two railways and the third one is free! What better way to experience three of England’s narrow gauge railways and with a Stafford-built common thread linking it all together

At Apedale, we also work closely with our friends at two other narrow gauge railways. They are the Amerton Railway, near Stafford, and the West Lancashire Light Railway, at Hesketh Bank (between Preston and Southport). Each railway has a loco built by Bagnall of Stafford. Amerton has “Isabel”, West Lancs has “Sybil” and we have “WOTO” at Apedale.
