The Autumn Steam Gala offers an action-packed day out for steam enthusiasts and families alike. With an enhanced timetable and a wide selection of visiting and home-fleet steam locomotives in operation, this is a unique opportunity to experience heritage rail travel at its finest. Ride as many trains as you like, hop on and off at each of our charming heritage stations, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a traditional steam railway.

Visitors can enjoy Brake Van rides, explore restoration projects, listen to talks, and browse a range of exhibits. The event is spread across our scenic 10-mile line, so there’s plenty of opportunity to explore the countryside as well as the railway. Refreshments, free parking at Ropley, and excellent photo opportunities make this an ideal autumn day out.
