Refreshments served at your table in a unique Royal Carriage

At Ribble Steam Railway, we house the Great Eastern Railway Saloon No.5, built in 1898 for Princess Alexandra.

On selected days in the year, this unique carriage is added to our standard train, and options are available for Coffee & Cake, Ploughman's Lunch, and an Afternoon or Cream Tea.

In addition to your regal experience, on the same day, you are welcome to travel on any of the timetabled services that day in standard class accommodation.
