1940s Weekend

We will have vehicles, stalls and displays at Dereham and Yaxham station, with food and drink available at both stations. Music and performers will be at Dereham station. Displays will be on at Yaxham station too, where you'll also be able to ride the Yaxham Light Railway, where they will be offering the opportunity to drive one of the period engines.

Renactors and historical characters will be present who will be able to answer questions about life during the 40s.

The Blitz experience will be open at Dereham Station, relive and see films from the Blitz period.

At 1120 & 1340 on each day, there will be a live firepower demonstration at Dereham using weapons used during the war.
