Travel back in time for a full weekend of 1940s nostalgia across the Mid-Norfolk Railway.

At Dereham Station, enjoy live music, period performers, and the immersive Blitz Experience, where you can watch wartime films and learn what life was like on the Home Front. Food and drink will be available throughout the day, with stalls and historical displays bringing the station to life.

Yaxham Station will also host a range of exhibits and stalls, and visitors can ride the Yaxham Light Railway - with the rare chance to drive one of their period locomotives.

Reenactors and historical characters will be on hand at both stations, sharing stories and answering questions about wartime life.

On Saturday and Sunday, live firepower demonstrations will take place at Dereham, showcasing authentic WWII weapons in action.

With vintage trains running between the stations, it’s a unique opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and spirit of the 1940s.
