Friendly, volunteer staff will welcome you aboard a heritage steam train for a return journey that takes you along the shores of the Firth of Forth, with views of the majestic Ochil Hills, before you steam past woodlands, wild flowers and waterfalls.

A new one for the diary – but following a familiar theme. This is a family-focussed event, where children will be able to take part in a simple quiz along the journey, looking out for animals which may live in the adjacent Apedale Country Park. Steam trains will run from 1130 until 4pm.

Meet Bluey and enjoy a ride on a real vintage steam train. A great family day out packed with fun and smiles.

Discover science and history fun facts, meet characters from the past and have a go at crafts.
